Molly-headshotMOLLY GOCHMAN is a NYC-based conceptual artist and activist whose work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and internationally. Her sculptures, photographs, sound works, installations and earthworks often incorporate participatory elements to prompt questioning, welcoming community connection and exchange in both intimate and public spaces. In 2014, Ms. Gochman created Red Sand Project, an artwork that uses earthwork installations, participatory sidewalk interventions, and convenings to raise awareness of human trafficking. A Texas native, Ms. Gochman earned her B.F.A. from Guilford College in North Carolina. “By arranging objects in spaces, I create environments and experiences to communicate what I cannot come close to expressing in words,” she explains.
